You will continue to grow your technical knowledge around indirect taxes and emerging technologies by working on large, complex tax projects.
Responsibilities include:
* Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and streamline workflows through application of emerging technologies and implementing those ideas.
* Develop and maintain features for an existing application and feel comfortable with Green Field type of projects
* Collaborate with the architects and the leadership to implement the most performant solutions according to the business problem
* Review and test code to utilize best practices and patterns to ensure code quality with a performance improvement mindset
* Write SQL queries with understanding of the impact in all the different environments
* Communicate with leadership to collaborate through a project lifecycle, understanding potential changes and the impact on the existing applications
* Draft technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guides, etc
* Help with ad hoc troubleshooting efforts through business process and production incidents
