We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Process Automation team.
As a Service Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for our Process Automation systems at critical customer sites, mostly with DCS and Safety solutions.
This role includes both regular maintenance and brownfield projects with a wide technology spectrum.
You will work closely with our clients to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of their automation systems.
What will you do?
* Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process automation systems (including: controllers, HMI, network, workstations).
* Conduct system testing and participate in system integration activities.
* As a team member, develop logics & HMI screens for brownfield projects, system setup in staging areas.
* Provide technical support to customers, including diagnosing and resolving system issues.
* On-duty availability, on a weekly basis, for department scheduling.
* Deliver training to customers on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.

As a Field Service Representative, a typical day for you might include:
* Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment
* Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service
* Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets
* Manager and/or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues
* Continuous learning and training on various products both in the field and in the classroom
On some days, you may even:
* Travel throughout the region for local customer support or even countrywide travel
