About Detention Behavioral Health Services
Our Detention services provides mental health and substance use disorder specific behavioral health services to incarcerated youth and their families in an effort to reduce recidivism and increase recovery and health for reunification into broader community environments.
These position will work with Psychiatrist, Therapists, Counselors, Case Managers and other professional staff and supervise multiply disciplinary teams.
These position will oversee mental health detention services, and that evidence based practices and modalities are used effectively.
The position will ensure a mental health response team is available to address life threatening situations such as suicidal ideation or attempts in the jails.
Additionally, these positions ensure all referred individuals receive a mental health evaluation to determine the presence of a psychiatric problem and identify the services needed.
These positions also ensure medication services are provided as needed along with follow up mental health referrals for outpatient services.

Seeking self-motivated and adaptable individuals with outstanding customer service skills to provide services for the Nutrition and Health promotion branch, which may entail working in the following programs: Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program, CalFresh for Healthy Living, plus our Integrative Nutrition program working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or other nutrition programs.
