Rancho Bellagio Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis for the AM shift.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and is passionate about enhancing residents' quality of life through meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate individual and group activities that meet the functional levels, interests, and cultural or religious preferences of each resident
* Support residents' individual routines, preferences, and choices while addressing their needs and concerns
* Communicate effectively with the Activity Director, supervisor, and interdisciplinary team as appropriate
* Provide one-on-one and in-room activities for residents who are bed-bound or unable to attend group programs
* Assist residents with activities as needed, adapting programming to cognitive and physical abilities using appropriate support techniques
* Assist in the development, posting, and distribution of activity calendars
* Monitor the environment for safety concerns, including fire hazards, and report issues promptly

Qualifications

General Purpose

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
* Learn how to find, bid, and build heavy construction projects.
* Work with current bidding software
* Aid in setting up contracts and subcontracts.

Asphalt Plant Operations
* Spend time working with plant operators running asphalt plants.
* Work with yard crew and loader operator
* Learn how to run scales.
* Assist with general maintenance of the plant.
Hot Mix Asphalt Lab
* Assist in mix design process.
* Assist in testing hot mix asphalt.
Construction Crews
* Work on a Hot Mix Asphalt construction crew and/or prep crew
* Spend time with foreman learning how to prepare for the job and set up job.
* Learn about construction equipment - various uses and skills required.
* Work with Equipment and in shops
Business Management
* Work with Operations Manager/accounting on monthly projections
* Understand job cost.
* Review workload
* Understand the basics of P&L
