The Lead Perinatal Sonographer performs standard, specialty and complex obstetric diagnostic sonographic examinations and procedures with mastery, producing superior quality studies under a variety of conditions.
They are responsible for working knowledge, operation and maintenance of all ultrasound related equipment, performance of ultrasound studies related to high-risk obstetrical ultrasounds and recording these images in the standard formats for diagnosis by a physician.
The Lead Perinatal Sonographer is responsible for perinatal sonography orientation, training/education, and provides feedback to management regarding performance evaluations.

Opportunities and Expectations for Leadership
The Endowed Chair in SCD Research will report to and assist the Division Chief in resource planning, promotion of research and scholarly activity, and exploration of innovative funding opportunities for SCD research.
Commensurate with current funding and level of experience, they will:
* Oversee the development and academic progress of faculty and researchers related to SCD.
* Help develop a clear strategic vision for SCD research that will drive Nemours to becoming a national leader in pediatric SCD research and treatment.
* Receive additional research dollars to support their ongoing research projects.
* Partner with the Office of Institutional Advancement to participate in the execution of a fundraising program for the SCD research program.

One of the nation's largest pediatric health systems, Nemours Children's Health, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our dedicated and collegial team at the Nemours Children's Hospital, Orlando, Florida.
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate physician to provide anesthesia and sedation services for pediatric patients requiring cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, cardiac imaging, and for those with congenital or acquired heart disease requiring non-cardiac procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for patients with complex congenital heart disease, including single ventricle physiology and critical neonatal cardiac conditions.
The pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist's role is an integral part of a multidisciplinary cardiac team and includes supervision of CRNAs and CAAs, education of medical students and anesthesia residents pursuing pediatric cardiac anesthesia electives and working closely with our pediatric cardiac intensivists assisting with invasive monitoring placement, airway management, and bedside procedures.
In addition, the physician will participate in department and hospital-wide quality assessment and performance improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance care delivery and leading efforts to implement best practices.
This position includes the opportunity for a faculty appointment at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
Research opportunities are available both through collaboration across the Nemours Children's Health system and the UCF academic community.
Requirements:
* ACGME residency training and subsequent fellowship.
* ABA certification in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology with a focus on Pediatric Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.

Ours is an academic division with 9 endocrine faculty, 5 APRNs, 5 Endocrine nurses, 6 certified diabetes educators as well as a team of medical and administrative assistants, and administrators that assist us in the care of our patients.
As the only providers of comprehensive endocrine care in the region we have unparalleled access to all types of endocrine pathology.
Our pediatric diabetes program -~1200 patients to-date - has a significant interest in advanced diabetes technology .
We also have a 3-year Pediatric Endocrine fellowship program - 1 fellow per year - in collaboration with the University of Florida.
Our program has had a heavy emphasis on clinical research with 25+ years track record of successful studies on the complex interactions of nutrients and hormones, specifically focusing on disorders of growth, disorders of puberty and type 1 diabetes.

Nemours Jacksonville is affiliated with the Mayo Clinic/Mayo Foundation which has a very large campus located in town, and our faculty has full academic appointments conferred through the Mayo system.
