Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will assist individuals in working toward their personal goals.
DSP staff support individuals with tasks such as meal preparation, community outings, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, attending appointments, and taking medication.
Staff should feel comfortable providing personal care, medical supports, and other daily supports to those they assist.
Staff should feel comfortable responding to interfering behaviors.
Essential Job Duties:
* Work on tailored outcomes with each person in the home.
Outcomes may include budgeting, behavioral management, community exploration, meal planning, organizational skills, coping skills, and/or physical fitness.
* Be an active participant with individuals served when working on outcomes and out in the community.
* Assist with personal cares as needed per person served.
* Provide guidance and instructional teaching to persons while building life skills.
* Provide cleaning, cooking and medication administration to the individuals living at the home.
* Provide supervision and transportation in the community on activities and appointments.
Typically, a company vehicle is available, but times may require use of own personal vehicle.
Preferred Experience:
* At least 1 year supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mental health diagnosis
* At least 1 year working with individuals with verbal and physical aggressions
* At least 1 year implementing Emergency Use of Manuel Restraints (applicable at select programs)
Required Qualifications:
* Staff must be at least 18 years of age to support Adult Programs
* Staff must be 21 years of age or older to support Youth Programs
* Proficient in spoken and written English language
* Have a vehicle to use for work related purposes with current car insurance
* Have an acceptable driving record as determined by Meridian Services policy
* Successful clearance of a Department of Human Services (DHS) Background Study
* Comfortable providing personal cares (including but not limited to: bathroom supports, bathing/showering, medication administration)

The mail arrives.
You sort through it while dealing with a whole host of other customer requests, remembering to email the customer from earlier to let him know his package is waiting for him in his mailbox.
And that’s lunch.

You help a customer with printing and another with their invoice.
A customer in a team room say it’s too hot in their office, no problem you are on it and open a ticket in our service portal.
You’ve earned yourself another quick coffee break, relax and enjoy a few minutes to yourself.
Early afternoon, you sit down with the Community Manager to discuss the organization of next week’s networking event in your center.
You plan and write the e-invites to customers, then create, print and put-up posters on the noticeboards around the center. To your excitement, the Community Manager is coming around the corner with a prospect (someone interested in joining the IWG community), you share a few details about what makes this space so amazing for your customers and encourage them to join the network soon so they can participate in next week’s networking event – then you head back to finish putting up your posters.

SUMMARY
The Assistant Staff Analyst (ASA) will support the coordinated release of ODR clients from Los Angeles County Jail as a part of ODR’s Central Release Team.
The Central Release team is a multidiscipline team of Physicians, Nurses, Mental Health Clinicians, Analysts, and Medical Case Workers who are responsible for ensuring efficient releases from custody while making sure that client’s needs are appropriately addressed, and that necessary aftercare is in place.
The position will work across ODR’s jail-based diversion programs with an emphasis on the ODR Housing Program, which is focused on the release of P3/P4 population from Los Angeles County Jails.
The P3 population comprises of individuals who are unstable due to significant mental illness, persistent danger of self-harming in less acute settings, or recurrent violence due to emotional instability.
The P4 population consists of individuals experiencing severe debilitating symptoms, meets Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) 5150 criteria for danger to self, others, or grave disability.
This role will serve as a liaison to the ODR Housing Court and RAD (Referrals Access & Data) managers for the coordination release of the P3/4 population to community-based housing and services.
Currently, ODR has a hybrid work schedule with a combination of workdays in the office, in the field and remote.
This may change at discretion of DHS.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Coordinate and manage the jail release process for ODR clients in collaboration with other members of the Central Release Team.
* Collaborate with ODR physicians to ensure clients are discharged with prescribed medications and verify that medications are delivered to interim housing sites upon release.
* Work directly with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s custody staff to schedule client releases.
* Collaborate with doctors, nurses, analysts, and clinicians to assess client needs and ensure that housing placements and Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) assignments are secured prior to release.
* Act as a liaison to defense attorneys to address client legal holds by working with the Sheriff’s Department and other out of county jurisdictions, as needed, to facilitate resolution and release.
* Assist with the creation of new client profiles and maintain accurate client records.
* Enter, track, and report release tracking data for monitoring and accountability.
* Meet with clients in custody to orient them to the ODR program and prepare them for transition to community-based services.

Nemours is seeking a Surgery Scheduler (Full-Time), to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.
Primary Function
This position is responsible for scheduling surgical procedures for assigned physician(s).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensuring safe, accurate, and timely collection and submission of necessary surgical documentation, coordinates with external operating rooms, ASC, etc to ensure the patients are appropriately scheduled for surgeries and/or procedures.
Essential Functions
Coordinates the clinic and surgery schedules for the providers to ensure no conflicts exist.
Maintain in compliance with all HIPPA, compliance, and patient safety regulations for Nemours as well as our partners.
Coordinates surgery schedule with internal and external operating rooms.
Submits surgical clearances for the purpose of patient scheduling into the OR.
Submits all necessary information to the pre-certification team to ensure appropriate insurance coverage is obtained prior to surgery/ procedure.
Acts as the family's liaison between the surgical centers and clinical staff to ensure all education, authorizations and post op appointments are provided.
Schedules outpatient and inpatient surgery, procedures, and testing for patients.
Must have the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
Regular attendance is required.
Good communication and documentation skills are required.
