Job Description: Define, drive, and implement data architecture to support next generation data platforms, cloud strategies, and advanced analytics.
Document models or views to show how the current and future needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile and adaptable manner.
Provide architectural expertise in defining and driving the right solution to meet the technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations and capability needs.
Design and engineer data store and data warehouse, data source identification, data modelling, databases and user self-service capabilities.
Complete Data Architecture governance and Quality Assurance reviews to ensure compliance with architectural standards for coding and service combinations.
Perform assessments (proof of concepts) of the latest tools and technology to solution and define the future technology roadmap.
Lead, mentor, and support the data services team with methodologies, tools and technical knowledge while acting as interface between the Global and regional teams.
Provide feedback to the delivery and management teams to improve data acquisition (structured and unstructured), warehousing methodologies and tools.

Requirements: Position requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, IT Management, or related field and progressive, post-bachelor's experience (2 years with Master's or 4 years with Bachelor's) in data architecting or engineering, or related occupation, which must include the following experience in specific skills: 2 years of experience as a Data Architect implementing Data Warehouse / Data Lakes design, data modelling, and ETL; 2 years of experience architecting data-related solutions on cloud platforms (AWS); 2 years of experience with Database Migration and replication services (AWS DMS, Qlik replicate); and 2 years of experience with analytics, visualization, and dashboard reporting tools (OBI, Tableau).
