Description of Duties:Â
Roving Assistant Crew Leaders (RACL) are responsible for facilitating a positive crew member experience by setting an example of enthusiasm throughout work and camp life.
The RACL works in tandem with the Crew Leader (CL) to communicate directions, project specifications, and constructive criticism throughout the term of service.
The RACL will expand their role, learn leadership strategies, and assume management duties including filling in for the CL in project relations or completing paperwork when needed.
While a standard ACL spends the entire field season paired with a CL on one crew, the RACL should expect to be moved between crews from hitch to hitch as needed to fill gaps, split hitches between crews, and spend a mix of time in the field and working with office staff to achieve other objectives. In the event of an ACL resigning, the RACL could be placed as permanent ACL on a specific crew for the remainder of the season.
The RACL should be very flexible in scheduling, travel, and type of work performed week to week.Â

The PICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Wilmington, DE.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Nemours Children's Health, Delaware is a 24-bed unit in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Patients requiring care and surveillance in the PICU will have conditions and diagnoses which may include, but are not limited to, those producing: acute and reversible loss of consciousness, respiratory failure, compromised air exchange, cardiovascular dysfunction, hepatic failure, hemodynamic instability, renal dysfunction, central nervous system injury or dysfunction, acute trauma and organ failure requiring transplantation.
Treatments or interventions performed in the PICU include measures utilizing advanced life support technology.
These include, but are not limited to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, tracheal intubation, ECMO, pharmacologic support of circulation, mechanical ventilation, point of care monitoring, CRRT, thoracentesis, and hemodynamic, intracranial pressure, intravascular monitoring.

Portable monitoring during patient transport is provided.
Special equipment includes radiant warmer beds, heating/cooling blanket systems, Mapleson manual ventilation system, end tidal CO2 monitors, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring systems, intracranial pressure monitoring system, ventriculostomy systems, infusion pumps, blood warmer, continuous renal replacement systems, and peripheral nerve stimulators.

The Medical Assistant (MA) is an important liaison between the patient/family, provider, and other care team members.
The MA is responsible for coordinating patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake, ensuring the appropriate information is available to the provider, and entering pertinent history in the medical record.
The MA performs and assists with clinical procedures in accordance with divisional/department responsibilities as directed by the provider and per protocol.
The MA helps to orient and precept new associates.
This full-time Medical Assistant position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Candidates must have completed a Medical Assistant program or hold current Medical Assistant certification and are required to submit an updated resume with their application.
Practice hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.
to 6:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:30 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., with participation in a rotating Saturday schedule every other week from 7:45 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m.
This role includes an evening shift expectation once per week until 6:30 p.m.
and a minimum commitment of six Saturdays per year.
Essential Functions:
* Greets patients and families at the clinical setting according to Nemours Standards of Behavior.
* Verifies patient identity using two patient identifiers (name and date of birth).
* Prepares exam rooms, clinic equipment and computer technology by maintaining inventory and supplies for the outpatient visit.
* Rooms patient ensuring appropriate documents are with the patient, including required diagnostic reports.
* Receive, unpack, store, inventory, transport non-controlled medications and clinic supplies
* Performs clinical duties to support the outpatient visit to include, but not limited to the following:
+ Obtain and document height, weight, head circumference and vital signs.
+ Documents reason for visit, chief complaint and initiates orders defined using smart sets as appropriate for scope of service and Nemours' protocol.
+ Assist with patient examination/treatment.
+ Perform and document point of care testing, and controls.
+ Administers and documents vaccines and approved medications as defined by policy as ordered and provides vaccine records to families
+ Perform and collect routine laboratory specimens
+ Operate required medical equipment.
+ Assist in the flow of patient care
* Act as a liaison between support services, other clinical divisions, and patient regarding care and status of wait times.
* Make confirmation calls that are not completed by automated systems to ensure all visits are in "confirmed" status prior to visit or per Department protocol.
