The worker is responsible for reaching forward, picking up individual sheets of veneer with one or both hands, and moving them forward several inches so that they can be picked up by the rollers of the veneer dryer equipment.
Movement back and forth on a platform as necessary, pushing sheets forward and properly aligning them to the receiving end of the dryer.
Feeder will remove overlaps, ensure all fed sheets are unstacked, and discarding wane sheets as necessary.
Feeder must ensure dryer is full of veneer sheets and fed timely with each dryer cycle, according to supervisor expectations and production needs.
The worker will be responsible, through a series of pedals and buttons, for moving green veneer onto a scissors platform and maintaining the proper height at that platform at a comfortable waist/chest level.
At times, the machine will jam or plug up which will at times require the worker to remove or assist in removing the blockage. Both human and mechanical assistance will be available upon request, should the worker be unable to perform this activity alone.
Proper Lock-out-tag-out procedures must be performed.
Worker must use and understand dryers’ manual button operating system for power control.

Job Title: Lead Seafood Clerk Department: Seafood-Meat Reports to: Meat Manager/ Assistant Meat Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of the seafood department.
Cuts, trims and prepares quality seafood products to be displayed, while providing standard customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (responsibilities include, but are not limited to): - Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact.
- Responsible for supervising and recommending disciplinary action for associates in department.
- Responsible for work schedules, assigning work, training, enforcing Company policies and SOPs, productivity and communication with associates.
- Responsible for the processing of invoices, department reports, employee appraisals, inventory and supply ordering.
- Readily services customers orders, weighs out and prices products for customers - Pulls items to be cut and prepped for the day from the freezer - Cuts filets, chunks, and cubes per company standards - Trays, wraps, and prices products per company standards - Stocks and rotates seafood items, to maintain freshness and quality, removes damaged items from seafood floor - Displays merchandise on showcase per schematic - Adds ice to seafood display case, prepares poke and other seafood products from recipes - Completes basic cleaning of department, by washing and sanitizing work tools and area - Keeps seafood chill organized and clean, bale boxes - Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager OTHER DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Use of proper safety procedures - Able to listen to directions and follow through independently - Have good communication and observation skills - Able to work with a team and independently when needed EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: - High school / Secondary school diploma or GED - Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery - Possesses a food handling license SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Previous experience working with the public - Proper knife skills and proper sanitation knowledge - Working knowledge of different seafood required - Highly proficient in seafood products preparation and uses WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Air condition while in store, 40-50 degrees while working in the Sushi department, freezer and chill.
