To act as a positive role model for persons served and Agency staff.
Works hands on directly with people served to assist each person in developing independent living skills, such as mobility, budgeting, personal hygiene, cleaning, bathing, toileting, nail care and oral hygiene.
Knows whereabouts of persons served at all times.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Two or more years of work-related experience in troubleshooting and repairing gas appliances, furnaces and boilers, or related work is required.
* Must possess an understanding of electronics, electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
+ Knowledge of National Fuel Gas Code and experience in appliance venting and gas piping is desired.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* This position will report regularly in person to Superior WI
* Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
* This position may require employee to have a DOT Physical Examination and obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
* This position is subject to Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) regulations.
* This position is subject to call-out, standby and residency requirement of being 40 minutes from the reporting center.
* Residential Gas & Heat Technicians must successfully complete a state apprenticeship program.
* This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The expected hourly compensation range for this advanced apprenticeship is $37.70 - $50.26.
