How You Will Make an Impact
Material Handlers ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
The Nuts and Bolts
* Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area
* Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording locations of inventory, and reporting shortages.
* Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders (kitting)
* Locates and loads/packs units for shipping
* Documents materials and records units delivered
* Operators fork trucks, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other machinery to move items
* Drive and stage trucks, bumpers, or other accessories
Required Credentials
* Prior manufacturing experience
* Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies required

* Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, conduct evaluation of test procedures to determine compliance with applicable standard(s).
