PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manages the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through the coordination of activities with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.
* Provides leadership, coaching and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce; partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.

* Complies with all data collections and auditing activities.

We are looking for a contribution motivated Buyer to support our Georgia-Pacific site in Port Hudson, LA.
The role includes purchasingactivities in a high volume, time-critical environment.
The buyer will gain experience with Maintenance Repair and Operating (MRO) supplies, direct materials, chemicals, equipment spare parts and outside services from external vendors.
This role reports directly to the Regional Purchasing Manager.

What you'll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

It'd be great if you also have:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
* Bilingual English/Spanish
* Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
