The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is hiring a Senior Engineering Technician to coordinate and support countywide maintenance operations in Riverside.
This role will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Section and working independently to prepare and maintain detailed records such as daily logs, schedules, and payment documentation for contractors and vendors.
The Senior Engineering Technician will participate in planning conversations to determine maintenance responsibilities across various agencies and jurisdictions, including coordination with County Transportation, cities, and multiple Flood Control District divisions.
The technician will also oversee material delivery and disposal coordination, ensure internal checklists are completed, and serve as a liaison with contractors, public officials, and internal departments.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with common business software applications, such as spreadsheets and word processing programs, is required.
Ideal candidates will have substantial experience maintaining technical records and may also possess knowledge of the General Construction Stormwater Permit and experience with State Department of Pesticide Regulations in coordination with the County Agricultural Commissioner's Office.
Additional desirable qualifications include experience with surveying and construction staking, stormwater training certifications, and pesticide application training or certifications.

The incumbent will read and interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, contracts, guidelines and regulations.

California Children's Services Therapy evaluates and provides therapy treatment services for clients with physically handicapping conditions from birth to 21 years of age.

Supervising Therapist Corona
The County of Riverside's University Health System (RUHS) has an opportunity for a Supervising Therapist who will be assigned to the Public Health department's California Children's Services (CCS) Medical Therapy Unit.
This position will supervise physical and occupational therapists assigned to the department who provide therapy for physically handicapped children; and to do other work as required.
This is the full supervisory level in the Therapist Series for the CCS program.
Incumbent provides day-to-day supervision of a combination program of physical and occupational therapy.
This class differs from the Coordinating Therapist for physically handicapped children in that the latter assists the Chief Therapist in general program administration, professional staff development activities, and quality control of therapy services.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess at least three (3) years of experience as a licensed occupational therapist or a licensed physical therapist, with two (2) years of which must have been in pediatrics.
