The Position
Your Department
Your internship will take place in the "Antibody Development" subchapter, which is part of our organization "Reagent Research and Design”.
This subchapter focuses on the development of antibodies for various Roche Diagnostics platforms.
During your internship, you will work in the "Recombinant Antibody Formats" group, responsible for cloning and expressing antibodies.
From the very beginning, you will be warmly welcomed into the team and gain exciting insights into various areas.
The focus is to ensure a constant learning effect, to support and challenge you, and to offer you the opportunity to contribute your own ideas.
Your Tasks
* You will work on cloning and expressing antibodies in different cells
* You will support our team in optimizing transient transfection protocols through cell line engineering
* You will be responsible for sequencing of hybridoma cell lines.
* You will be involved in expression analyses of cells using various methods
* You will independently perform quality controls of expressed antibodies
* You will have the opportunity to plan and present your experiments independently
Your Profile
* You are enrolled in a master's degree program in biology, immunology, biotechnology, or a comparable field
* You have knowledge of fundamental immunological and molecular biological techniques (cloning, cell culture)
* You enjoy working in a team
* You are proficient in English and not afraid of talking to international clients
