Job Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with heavy equipment experience to join our Maintenance team at our plant located in Pueblo, Colorado. This position is responsible for supervising an assigned maintenance crew and coordinating with operations for our garage maintenance.
* Training the workforce on safe work practices
* Implementing a preventive maintenance program
* Planning and follow through on maintenance repairs
* Developing new skill levels for members of assigned maintenance crews
* Equipment functionality and alignment
* Scheduling employee training sessions and meetings
* Maintaining KRONOS pay system by reviewing, editing and approving employee time cards daily
* Assisting in procuring, organizing, and inventorying parts and materials needed for repairs
Requirements
* Two year degree in the mechanical field, or a completed accredited apprenticeship and/or five years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preference will be given to candidates with a four year Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
* Experience with heavy equipment is desirable.
* Knowledge of hydraulic systems
* Technical experience with high voltage systems, motor control, process automation
* Proficient in blue print reading and troubleshooting of mechanical operations of equipment
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Must be available to be on call and assist personnel in times of emergency and business needs
* Subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
Exposed to elevated noise levels, vibrations and extreme cold and heat.
Physical Hazards-Close proximity to moving parts and electrical currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to natural gas, high heat, hot surfaces, molten metal, chemicals, oils and lubricants.
Atmospheric conditions may require use of a respirator

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Dialysis experience Required
Functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with FMCNA policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set forth by the corporation, state, and federal agencies.
Responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
Supports the FMCNA commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI Activities, including those related to patient satisfaction and actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve the FMC Quality Enhancement Goals (QEP).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
STAFF RELATED:
* Participates in the recruitment process for new clinical staff.
* Assists with clinical orientation and on-going training of all appropriate direct patient care personnel as well as the orientation of all facility staff to FMS.
* Functions as preceptor in direct patient care training programs to support the delivery of quality patient care as per the standards set forth in the FMS Clinical Services Clinical Training Manual(s), FMS policies and procedures, and FMS training standards.
* Delivers and maintains on-going competency evaluations/audits to ensure ongoing performance of other PCT's.
* Collaborates with the Clinical Manager and Education Coordinator in driving FMS quality standards through education regarding all ESRD regulatory and legal requirements and the practice of Continuous Quality Improvement.
* Assists in training of applicable direct patient care staff on appropriate programs.

* Partners with RN and IDT staff to educate the appropriate personnel regarding the integrity and safety of the facility water systems, as allowed by local regulations.

The Engineer is responsible for:
Technical
* Conduct drawing reviews and assure compliance to building codes, specifications of factory-built residential, commercial, and industrial structures in accordance with applicable North American Building Codes.
* Perform inspection of structural systems and building components of all types of buildings (wood, steel, other materials) of any occupancy (residential, industrial, commercial),
* Ensure compliance of structural and building components to drawings, specifications, building codes, and applicable construction standards.
* work independently in the field and make on-site evaluations and decisions, consistent with the requirements of various Building Codes and construction standards.
Quality Assurance
* Assemble Factory Audit Manuals and Certification Listing Reports based on Quality Control and Technical information gathered during the audits and inspections.
* Visit manufacturing facilities to conduct plant Quality Control Audits and Technical Inspection of modular buildings in fabrication
* Travel to various client sites in North America, may also involve some overseas travel
* Attend technical or industry association meetings.
* Provide technical support to sales team to determine the scope of new projects and develop pricing estimates and project timelines
What it takes to be successful in this role:
* Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
* Preference will be given to candidate with 3-5 years’ experience related to building construction and/or design of residential and commercial site built and/or factory-built structures, supplemented by some experience as a construction foreman, superintendent, or contractor
* Understanding of Canadian and/or US building codes, standards, and construction methods.
* Eligible for registration or currently registered as a P.Eng.
with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia).
* Ability to travel within Canada and USA

Ensure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.
Ensure that the facility and its equipment is properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to your supervisor as soon as possible Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as directed or requested Ensure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
Inform residents when it is necessary to move his/her personal possessions.
