Key Responsibilities
* Receive and execute daily instructions from the Project Superintendent.
* Coordinate the mobilization of all necessary equipment for each job site.
* Supervise, train, and mentor crew members, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
* Read and interpret construction plans, directing work to meet all specifications.
* Oversee finishers and laborers, ensuring alignment with field layouts and project plans.
* Step in and perform concrete finishing or general labor duties when needed.
* Communicate promptly with the Project Superintendent regarding any changes in job site conditions that may require plan adjustments; secure approval before implementing modifications.
* Ensure proper use, operation, and maintenance of equipment and tools by all team members.
* Report mechanical issues promptly to the shop for resolution.
* Promote and lead the team in upholding our safety culture, always fostering a safe work environment.
* Maintain accurate time and material records for daily job costing.
* Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.
* Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications & Requirements
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* Completion of MSHA training within 90 days of employment is mandatory.
* Successful completion of Miner training prior to facility work.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
* Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and criminal background check.
* Consistent and reliable attendance.
* Strict compliance with safety policies and protocols per company guidelines.
* Willingness to travel and work at remote or out-of-town locations as required.
* Flexibility to work nights and weekends when necessary.
* Adherence to PPE requirements as specified by OSHA and/or MSHA, including but not limited to: face shield, safety (hard toe) shoes, and safety vest.
