Join INVISTA as Research and Development E&I Technician.
We are looking for a motivated person to perform electrical and instrumentation installation, preventive maintenance, repair work, and DCS as part of the Katy Texas Technology Center team.
You will review R&D schedule and coordinate with the Team leader, PI's, Experimentalist and Operating team to align on priorities to successfully execute critical work to maintain equipment availability.
What You Will Do
R&D E&I Technicians are primarily responsible for instrumentation, DCS and electrical preventive maintenance and repair work in accordance with our Environmental, Health, and Safety practices as part of the R&D team.
You will:
* Review the weekly work schedule and coordinate with the R&D team to align priorities to successfully execute critical work to maintain equipment availability and PM compliance.
* Maintain accurate maintenance logs and critical preventive maintenance findings.
* Assist in the development and implementation of reliability centered maintenance strategies
* Support implementation of project portfolio via Management of Change
* Type of work can include but not limited to: inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, calibrating and maintaining instrumentation equipment including transmitters, valves, I/P, positioners, actuators, flow meters, tubing, RTD, thermocouples, motors, starters, breakers, transformers, isolation switches, relays, fuses, resistors, AC Drives, electrical cable, coaxial cable, conduit, receptacles, PLC's, etc.
* Wiring and termination of low voltage control circuits, instrumentation circuits, panel wiring, installation and inspection of conduits, cable trays, junction boxes, control panels, power drops to experimental equipment, checks such as continuity verification, wire labeling, installation of small electrical equipment etc.
* Identification of electrical hazards, shock risks, arc-flash boundaries and energized work restrictions
* Develop loop, wiring and panel drawings and electrical schematics
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Ability to read & execute changes based on electrical prints, loop sheets, and P&IDs
* At least one of the following requirements:
* Associate degree or Higher in a related I&E field with 3+ years of practical experience in the refining, petrochemical, or a chemical industry-based R&D environment
* 3+ years of Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electrical, Electrical or Analyzer experience in a manufacturing, industrial or agriculture facility

The primary purpose of the Housekeeper position at Gateway Post Acute is to maintain a safe, clean, orderly, and sanitary environment throughout the facility.
This role supports resident comfort, infection control standards, and overall facility safety by ensuring all assigned areas are clean and free of obstacles and odors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness of all public and common areas including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors
* Clean and maintain resident rooms and bathrooms
* Clean and disinfect handrails, high-touch surfaces, and common-use areas
* Remove dust, dirt, and debris from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers
* Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
* Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in assigned areas
* Follow proper safety procedures while cleaning, including the use of caution signage
* Store cleaning supplies and chemicals safely and out of resident reach
* Use cleaning supplies and equipment according to manufacturer instructions
* Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and orderly manner
* Report resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing
* Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment
* Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude
* Manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks independently or as part of a team
