+ Encephalitis
+ Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
+ Intracranial Hemorrhage

+ Minor Neurological Disorders
Primary skills utilized/learned:
+ Detailed Neurological assessments
+ ICP Monitoring
+ Medication titration
+ Managing surgical drains, mechanical ventilators, body temperature, & CRRT
•Neurological patient care; NIHSS Certification for Stroke care
•Telemetry monitoring
•Time management, critical thinking, delegating
•Seizure disorder monitoring/ care
Personnel RN will work with:
+ LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Respiratory Therapy, Social Work, Speech Therapy, PT, OT, Dietary
