Job Description:
* Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
* Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per the OT Board.
* Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the physician.
* Assist the nursing department with training of Restorative Aides.
* Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, concerns, and plans.
* Participate in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
* Maintain documentation per Occupational Therapy Board, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, and recertification documentation, in accordance with state practice acts and third-party payer requirements.
