General Purpose
Define the roles and responsibilities of the Director of Nursing (DON).
The DON is a registered nurse who oversees and supervises the care of all the residents.
The DON also provides direct resident/patient care.
Essential Duties
• Overall management of the entire nursing department and staffing levels.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
• Responsible for ensuring resident safety and that all residents are treated with utmost respect.
• Develop and conduct in-services for the clinical staff.
• Responsible for the recruiting, hiring and training of nursing staff.
• Coordinates pharmacy services and destruction of expired/discontinued medication.
• Liaison between the facility, physicians and family members.
• Being a witness at a trial in the event of litigation.
• Work closely with all other departments to ensure excellent overall resident care.
• Responsible for department budgeting and reporting.
• Responsible for keeping current on any regulation changes and disseminating this information appropriately.
• Participate in QA, Utilization Review and Patient Care conferences.
• Actively participate in and assist with all state surveys and required follow-up activity.
• Coordinate MDS and care planning.
• Conduct employee appraisals and resolve problems including disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Must maintain employee and resident/patient confidentiality at all times.
• Provide direct/hands-on resident/patient care as needed.
Supervisory Requirements
The Director of Nursing is responsible for supervising and managing the ADON, and entire nursing staff either directly or indirectly.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Minimum requirements to perform this position include: Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred (BSN).
Must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain all required continuing education/licensing requirements at all times.
Minimum of 7 years nurse management experience preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

What you’ll do
* All allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers
* Plastering works across repairs, maintenance and property refurbishments
* Delivering high-quality and compliant work
* Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes
* All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be

You have
* NVQ Level 2 City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in plastering.
* Experienced plasterer within domestic housing
* Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled)
* A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.

The practical bits
* Working Monday to Friday, as well as on call out of hours service on a rota basis
* You have a full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting
* Confident using technology to access scheduled jobs
* You’ll need a Basic DBS and Health check which we pay for

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Project Coordinator and Regional Production Manager.
What you’ll do:
Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc.
utilizing Microsoft Office software
* Assist with the analysis of data as required
* Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.
* Research a wide variety of information requests
* Set up conference room(s) for visitors and in-house meetings
* Ensure that general office equipment is functioning in satisfactory condition
* Maintain an adequate stock of general office supplies
* May assist with developing, updating, and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/or work instructions
* Assist with forecasting and month end reports
* Assist with invoice coding and approval

Salary & Benefits Information
The hourly rate for this position is $25.16 per hour.
Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
