We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis.
This role is ideal for a PTA who enjoys flexible scheduling while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative rehab environment.
General Purpose
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assists the Physical Therapist in providing direct patient care, implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and supporting residents in achieving their highest level of functional mobility and independence in accordance with physician orders, state practice acts, and facility policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Treat patients as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
* Implement treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and established goals
* Document daily treatment notes and progress per state and facility requirements
* Communicate patient progress, concerns, and response to treatment with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team
* Participate in patient care conferences, rehab meetings, and discharge planning as needed
