Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Effectively assess risk and price business according to the company's underwriting and pricing guidelines and ensure time standards are met.
* Develop and maintain relationships with agents, monitor agency growth, profitability and quality of submissions; review loss activity (frequency and severity) for each agent in the assigned territory; consider mix of business, loss ratios by line of business, fit of business with company guidelines; identify problems or patterns that might predict problems and work with the agent to correct.
* Acquire reinsurance as needed.
* Effectively use all available systems, tools and resources in making sound underwriting decisions.

The VP, Global Claims Transformation Strategy & Execution Lead will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the seamless execution of claims transformation initiatives across the organization.
Reporting directly to the SVP of Strategy & Portfolio Management, this role will manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, best practices within cross-functional teams, project plans/timelines, and project risk and mitigation strategies.
At the same time, this individual will play a pivotal role in driving the day-to-day management of overall Claims Transformation strategy.
The VP will be responsible for providing support across the global claims' portfolio, support tracking and summarizing global leadership updates, create more consistency in overall reporting and drive greater standardization across our claim handling processes and practices.
