The PICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Wilmington, DE.This is a 36-hr/wk nightshift position.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Nemours Children's Health, Delaware is a 24-bed unit in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Patients requiring care and surveillance in the PICU will have conditions and diagnoses which may include, but are not limited to, those producing: acute and reversible loss of consciousness, respiratory failure, compromised air exchange, cardiovascular dysfunction, hepatic failure, hemodynamic instability, renal dysfunction, central nervous system injury or dysfunction, acute trauma and organ failure requiring transplantation.
Treatments or interventions performed in the PICU include measures utilizing advanced life support technology.
These include, but are not limited to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, tracheal intubation, ECMO, pharmacologic support of circulation, mechanical ventilation, point of care monitoring, CRRT, thoracentesis, and hemodynamic, intracranial pressure, intravascular monitoring.
Each patient room has electrocardiographic, pulse oximetry, respiratory, hemodynamic and intracranial pressure monitoring capability, as well as central EKG and respiratory monitoring.
Portable monitoring during patient transport is provided.
Special equipment includes radiant warmer beds, heating/cooling blanket systems, Mapleson manual ventilation system, end tidal CO2 monitors, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring systems, intracranial pressure monitoring system, ventriculostomy systems, infusion pumps, blood warmer, continuous renal replacement systems, and peripheral nerve stimulators.

The Social Worker will serve as a key member of the dialysis care team, providing psychosocial support and care coordination to help patients and families successfully navigate the lifelong challenges associated with kidney disease and dialysis treatment.
Job Duties:
* Provide comprehensive psychosocial services to patients admitted to Nemours Children's Hospital.
The primary focus will be addressing patients' psychosocial needs and enhancing their overall well-being.
Additionally, play a crucial role in facilitation patient and family adjustment to illness, ensuring optimal functioning for both individuals and families.

+ Offer case management, medical crisis counseling, patient/family education, advocacy, residential placement, community referral facilitation, crisis intervention, and mental health evaluation.
+ Assist with the assessment and coordination of child abuse investigations within the hospital.
+ In collaboration with the medical team, manage domestic violence situations.
+ Access social barriers to discharge, work collaboratively with case management, participate in rounds, and escalate complex cases to avoid discharge delays.
+ If on-call, promptly respond to events and service requests within 5 minutes of receiving a phone call.
+ Remain within a 30-minute drive of the hospital.

Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Orthopedics at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center in Lakeland, Florida.
Nemours providers at Lakeland Regional Health have access to more than 13 pediatric subspecialties on site as well as remote access to all the Nemours pediatric subspecialists located in Orlando.
The Nemours transport team provides critical care transport services to Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida for children requiring higher level care.
This position provides care for pediatric patients, including interviews patients, obtains and records health histories, completes physical and developmental assessments, diagnoses health problems, manages the health care of those patients for which he/she has been educated, provides health care teaching and counseling, initiates referrals and maintains health records in the inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
Essential Functions:
* Provides care to pediatric patients as guided by education, clinical expertise and Scope of Practice Agreement, including ambulatory, inpatient (acute) care, surgical first assist and pre- and post-operative management
