Job Title: Account Executive, Local (SMB)
Job Summary:
A Local Account Executive (Sales Rep) strategically converts new business, penetrates territories, and fulfills quotas, with a primary objective to grow and retain profitable revenue.
The incumbent analyzes sales reports and transportation trends to identify new customers, growth from existing customers, and shipment reductions.
This role tracks sales opportunities and develops a pipeline of potential customers through strategic relationships.
This position promotes cross-functional sales by sharing leads, informing peers on freight services and bundling opportunities, and collaborating on sales proposals.
Job Responsibilities:
* Compiles weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information.
* Analyzes account recaps and monitors revenue trends to develop service recommendations.
* Utilizes shipping technology and systems for account activity review and customer database sign-up.
* Manages accounts by advising customers on billing processes, resolving inquiries, and entertaining customers.
* Trains customers on use and advantages of web-based shipping and tracking functions.
* Possesses strong customer relations, position the needed TFI shipping service to expand the customers business needs.
Job Requirements:
* U.S.
citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the position or being willing to self-relocate
* Individual must be organized, detail-oriented and have strong communication skills
* Understand TFI leverage over competitor products, services, and technology
* Projects future customer needs and is a critical thinker with analytical skills
* Possesses ability to identify issues and provide solutions and is a problem solver
* Builds strategic relationship with focus on customer pipeline and key decision making
* Persuasive negotiator with tactical techniques to overcome objections
* Possesses strong knowledge on industry trends and financial impact
* Experience giving sales presentations
* Bachelor's Degree not required but preferred

Job Title: Coordinator, Supplemental Linehaul
Job Summary:
The Supplemental Linehaul Coordinator handles freight delays and assists drivers due to equipment failure, inclement weather, accidents, hazardous material (i.e., hazmat) spills, road closures, and other delays.
They maintain internal communications to report the status of drivers, freight, and equipment.
The Supplemental Linehaul Coordinator also maintains communication with the vendors that we utilize with towing, accident clean-up, and repairs.
This position coordinates repairs of physical assets, controls costs, and manages vendor relationships.
They facilitate driver compensation due to delays and administer distribution and reimbursement of related expenses (e.g., tolls, overweight fines, repair costs, etc.).
This position monitors the ComData website and support issuance of Com Checks to provide aid to drivers.
The Supplemental Linehaul Coordinator works with various internal groups (e.g., Safety, Fleet Services, etc.) to ensure quality control and safety measures.
This position coordinates accident management and reporting to minimize cost and risk exposure.
They gather accident information from drivers to determine accident severity, evaluate equipment damage, and develop action plans.
This position handles equipment failures to maintain operations, track equipment repair history, and create solutions.
The incumbent gathers information from drivers to understand needs, equipment concerns, and equipment failures.
They coordinate the handling of hazmat incidents to ensure proper handling, avoid risks, and protect TFFs interests (e.g., employees, assets, customers property, etc.).
In addition, the Supplemental Linehaul Coordinator tracks equipment that is being held by tow-companies and/or storage facilities so that we dispose of or return the equipment to a local service center.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assists Operations with trailer hazmat labeling (i.e., placarding) requirements to ensure accuracy and to avoid regulatory infractions, penalties, and fines.
* Provides driver support to promote safety, minimize risks, and mitigate delivery delays.
* Addresses driver needs related to in-route delays to ensure timely freight delivery.
* Coordinates vendor management and invoicing for repairs to minimize cost and equipment down time.
* Creates ad-hoc reports to inform decision-making regarding break-downs, delays, etc.
* Maintains vendor information to ensure accurate data.
* Serves as a liaison to minimize operational disruptions, ensure proper accident management, serve employees well-being, and minimize risk exposure.
