The VFP Pharmacy Group Pharmacy Intern under the supervision of a Pharmacist, is responsible for ensuring the correct and safe dispensing of prescription medications.

Responsibilities
* Assists with picking, dispensing, packing and shipping medication orders
* Managing patient and customer interactions via in person, phone and email (inbound and outbound telephonic responsibilities)
* Performs duties as assigned and supervised by the pharmacist in accordance with VFP standard operating procedures for entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
* Assists and supports the Pharmacy in inventory management activities, such as, ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
* Learn to provide the best patient experience through assisting the pharmacist and pharmacy team in accordance with state and federal regulations.
* Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.

Requirements
* Must be available to work Monday through Friday, occasional holidays & rotating weekends.
