Primary Function-
This position is responsible for providing on-site day-to-day practice management to ensure a uniquely satisfying patient experience, a positive team environment, and a financially successful practice.
Provide daily management of practice operations using technology to ensure patients and families receive a uniquely satisfying family centered experience.
This will be done by monitoring performance metrics identified by the department and associates during goal setting sessions to promote adherence to service excellence, continuous improvement and staff development with training, teaching, coaching and mentoring to promote a team-based work environment with attention to associate work life balance and satisfaction.
Essential Functions-
Select, orient, direct and evaluate all clerical and clinical staff by recruiting and orienting associates by hiring individuals based on behavioral interviewing with a multi-disciplinary interview team to ensure the skill sets desired for each position.
Direct and evaluate performance of associates based on Standards of Behavior and key performance metrics developed during goal setting and routine evaluations.
Oversee patient flow using a daily management system to surface issues with area readiness, equipment and supply availability and workflow adjustments by monitoring staffing levels, facility readiness with concentration on safety and security for associates and visitors by adhering to the following regulatory agencies and policies: A.
OSHA; B.
CLIA; C.
Joint Commission; D.
NCQA; E.
Annual Safety Drills.
Model high performance and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in customer service.
Monitor patient and family experiences by conducting patient rounds, tracking and sharing patient satisfaction results with associates, recommending and implementing changes as needed to reach goals and monitor for continued success.
Coordinate and maintain associate and provider schedules.
Remain available to team members for reporting unscheduled time off, and review department needs for daily operational coverage requirements.
Monitor accruals, overtime, and scheduled/unscheduled time off requests for the preparation and submission of associate and physician payroll in KRONOS while monitoring and evaluating HR processes associated with time off.
Ensure a satisfying work experience for associates through application and role modeling of Nemours Standards of Behavior.
Provide positive reinforcement or coaching/counseling as needed.
Activate disciplinary processes as warranted.
Develop and monitor department's capital and operating budgets by monitoring department productivity measures, processing and tracking accounts payable and reimbursement requests.

* Operate a Class A commercial vehicle (tractor trailer) to make no-touch pick-ups and deliveries at various local ports/marine terminals, warehouses, and customer locations.
