A Brief Overview
Responsible for inventory management of raw materials, components and chemicals.
Develops and maintains a master schedule for product lines to ensure sufficient finished goods inventory.
Reviews material availability and lead times, production capacity, inventory carrying costs, and customer demand when developing schedules.
Consults with other managers and key personnel in Sales & Marketing, Production and Supply Chain to gather information necessary to develop and maintain master schedule.

* Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules for raw materials, chemicals and components require to meet production objectives.
Monitor and review forecasts and sales to ensure adequate inventory is available to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventories.
Evaluate and coordinate all inputs to master schedule: sales forecasts, customer orders, shop orders, purchase orders, capacity planning, firm plan and level load objectives, etc.
