CHDS is a team of scientists who partner with healthcare systems, schools, and communities.
Through these collaborations we aim to uncover, investigate, and transform how children and families can thrive.
We are seeking individuals interested in clinical research who aspire to academic research careers.
CHDS is led by Drs.
Anne Kazak, Melissa Alderfer and Susana Patton and spans the Nemours Enterprise with center faculty and staff in Delaware and Florida.
Our five areas of research focus include: 1) Improving delivery of care to children with medical conditions and their families; 2) Focusing on health for all children, through addressing barriers to optimal health and differences in access to care; 3) Identifying and addressing key psychosocial and behavioral factors that impact health; 4) Addressing the diverse needs of youth, families and pediatric health care providers; and 5) Developing and evaluating technology-enhanced interventions.
CHDS fellowships are two years and are open to individuals from a variety of backgrounds (e.g., psychology, nursing, public health).
For 2026-2028, we have two fellowship positions: one in Wilmington, DE and one in Jacksonville or Orlando, FL.
Fellows are paired with a primary research faculty mentor within CHDS and may also collaborate with other Nemours faculty.

The Division is comprised of a collaborative group of neonatologists and advanced practitioners in an all-referral, single-patient room NICU at NCH, offering a full range of services, including HFOV, HFJV, iNO, and whole-body cooling, with access to a comprehensive range of pediatric subspecialists, specialists in maternal fetal medicine and interventional radiology, and a full surgical program, including neonatal interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery.
ECMO services are provided in liaison with CICU.
We also provide neonatal palliative care services and NICU developmental follow -up clinic on site.
We use Epic system as EMR.
Support staff include a unit-based pharmacist, dietician, respiratory therapist, OT, PT, SLT, and music therapist.
The Division also staffs Level III and II NICUs at leading hospitals serving the communities where our families live and work.
A vibrant set of air and ground pediatric critical transport teams complement our service.
We are members of the Children's Hospital Neonatal Consortium, Vermont Oxford Network, and active participants in the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative.
Our NICU is equipped with PEA POD body composition device, Infant manometry system, pH-impedance analysis, POCUS, and telemedicine for clinical and research purposes.

Dans ce cadre et grâce à une fine connaissance des enjeux de la supply chain et des achats, il est attendu de l'analyste performances Opérations qu'il conçoive et fasse évoluer les outils de pilotage de l'ensemble du département Opérations.
Son rôle est en de fournir des analyses éclairées et contextualisées grâce à des données qualitatives et la mise en place d'outils BI permettant un pilotage pertinent et une visualisation à la fois rapide et 360°.
