We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
* Work together to meet the needs of patients and families, to promote healing, and to improve quality of life.
* Collaborate as a key resource for patients, staff, and providers for wound, ostomy, continence, and skin care.
This position will focus primarily on the urological and fecal ostomy patient population.
* Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers.
* Assist a team of specialists treating many types of chronic and hard-to-heal wounds as needed.
Conditions may include complex wounds, non-healing surgical wounds, pressure injuries and ulcers, traumatic wounds, wounds associated with leg swelling or related to slow blood flow to lower extremities.
* Utilize advanced wound treatments such as advanced tissue products, compression wraps, laser scar treatment, specialized dressings, surgical debridement, vacuum-assisted wound closure.
* Work on a great team that serves patients across multiple services throughout the hospital and/or ambulatory setting.
