JOB FUNCTION/ PURPOSE
The Chlorinator Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing various types of equipment to prolong the serviceable life of all equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Completes all order paperwork.
* Maintains files and records of work orders and task completion.
* Performs preventive maintenance and repair of: vacuum feed systems, chemical metering systems, automatic positioning valves, gas detectors and cylinder scales.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Willing to work all shifts, including: weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.
Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years of experience.
Licenses/Certifications : Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred).
Other licenses (may vary according to specific site and assignments): SCBA, CSI, Gas Feed Systems Level 3, Chemical Metering Systems Level 3, Chemical Metering Systems Level 3, Gas Detector Level 1, Cylinder Scales Level 1, Factory Training Certification.
Technical : Ability to follow manual & operating instructions.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet.

Receives and sorts incoming and outgoing inmate and office mail.
Performs sex offender registry updates in accordance with the Utah Department of Corrections Sex Offender Notification and Registration Offender Watch database.
Reviews and processes warrants, including the monitoring of the Utah Criminal Justice Information System database for critical notifications and time sensitive information from law enforcement agencies across the nation regarding wanted persons, warrants, firearms, stolen vehicles and other lost or stolen items.
Reviews law enforcement reports to ensure the accuracy of Incident-Based Reporting data collection for monthly submission to the Utah Department of Public Safety.
Responsible for ensuring that reports, affidavits, citations and body camera footage are received by the appropriate agencies, including courts and prosecuting attorneys in a timely manner.
Assists with the coordination and assignment of interns.
Receives reviews, redacts and releases department records in accordance with the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act.
