JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description: The Process Engineering Specialist role combines insurance business knowledge, process examination, and data analysis, to suggest and implement improvement initiatives across PRS.
You will leverage your process-driven, analytical, communication, coaching, and technical skills to identify, define, and implement process reengineering, automation, and future state transformation use cases.
In This Role you will:
* Conduct discovery, document current state processes, and identify areas of significant opportunity throughout PRS teams (including underwriting, operations, risk consulting, product, etc.).
* Leverage analysis, feedback channels, and process metrics to identify areas of improvement that drive simplified products, create repeatable processes, streamline/simplify systems, improve the customer experience, and reduce issues and pain points.
Help identify opportunities to optimize resource throughput and capacity utilization.
* Create business process documentation (mapping, job-aids, etc.) to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete transactions.
* Develop and present continuous improvement initiatives to stakeholders and business leaders that are compelling, motivate, drive change, create value, and drive buy-in.
* Coordinate with the process engineering team, business owners, IT development teams, and other relevant stakeholders to define requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy solutions as needed.
* Support implementation and change management of solutions within the business; Communicate project status, issues, and risks to internal and external teams on a regular basis.
* Foster strong relationships with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Claim's functions to collect stakeholder input and ensure the adoption of optimized business processes.
* Assist with establishing consistent standards and practices within the Process Engineering team and across PRS.
