Primary Purpose:
A Penetrant Line Operator I uses Non-Destructive Treatment (NDT) techniques on titanium castings for the aerospace industry.
Specifically the use of liquid penetrant solution.
An X-Ray Reader will interpret radiographic images and document results in accordance with established technique cards, develop shooting techniques as required, calibrate equipment, and train X-Ray Shooters as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
