* Review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
* Perform disassembly, inspection, rebuilding, and/or re-assembly of diesel and natural gas-powered on-highway truck engine systems and components, including but not limited to powertrain pumps, motors, and hydraulics components) in accordance with all prescribed quality and safety standards.
* Research and determine the reusability of parts in accordance with published manufacturer guidelines.
* Coordinate the ordering of replacement parts with a designated point of contact.
* Test, measure, and adjust engine systems and components.
Therein, identify the cause of failure through logical troubleshooting steps and failure analysis.
* Prepare and submit detailed, complete, and legible service reports of all inspections and actions performed using prescribed forms and procedures in a timely manner.
* Troubleshoot and test engines in the frame to determine the root cause of failure, and quote needed parts and labor to perform needed engine repairs.

As a Senior Specialist, Fleet Programs at RXO, you’ll be responsible for managing the administration related to the vehicle fleet belonging to RXO’s Corporate structure.
These responsibilities are centered on the process of driving efficiencies, maintaining relationships with 3rd party vendors, service providers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, and analyzing fleet performance metrics related to costs, utilization and areas for improvement.

* Process rental invoices in support of vehicle fleet

* Professionally communicate with internal partners and external clients throughout
* Monitor aging inventory and service to ensure departmental KPIs are met
* Monitor and track vehicles’ logistics requests, resolving issues and communicating with all parties
* Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with vendor network
* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and regulatory changes affecting fleet management, programs and maintenance
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
* 2 years of fleet, accounting experience and/or logistics/transportation experience
It’d be great if you also have:
* Basic knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to create complex formulas in MS Excel and the ability to create queries in company software applications
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
* Demonstrated attention to detail
