Process Control Manager
Primary Purpose:
Process Control Manager for Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Albany Titanium Group and technical resource for CPP Structurals and Airfoils.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance and support for Albany front end process control team
* Technical support for Albany and other CPP investing teams
* Lead division technical development and initiate/manage a program to support their growth
* Direct/support process automation initiatives across division (partnering with corporate resources and local engineering teams)
* Support CPP-wide process improvement initiatives
* Coordinate and support six sigma training
* Oversees other engineering improvements and problem solving related to production or NPI issues
* Responsible for employee welfare, productivity, development, accountability to the processes and a commitment to continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
* B.S.
in related discipline or equivalent experience
* 7 years experience in investment casting
* Must show capability to maintain, or create, and supervise a group of engineers and technicians that are able to perform in a team environment while personal accountability and individual growth is encouraged.
* Progressive experience including project management responsibility requiring the direction of the efforts of several engineers.
* Demonstrated capability to work with customers and or other internal organization (s) developing part/process/activities in a concurrent team approach environment while holding responsibility for the outcome of the project.
* Proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project
* Capable of performing statistical analysis and making data based decisions

Summary:
The NDT Level II - X-Ray Reader will utilize expertise in non-destructive testing to assure compliance with quality requirements of the company and customers.
They will interpret radiographic images and document results in accordance with established technique cards, develop shooting techniques as required, calibrate equipment, and train X-Ray Shooters as needed.
Essential Functions:
* Perform non-destructive testing using radiographic images to determine casting quality and pinpoint corrections needed for discrepancies in parts.
* Utilize instructions for radiographic inspections of castings through technique cards.
* Evaluate each image to ensure uniform accuracy and image quality.
* Visually inspect each casting to identify areas that require improvements in casting or welding.
* Find areas of frequently occurring imperfections and consult engineering or other necessary departments.
* Endorse radiographic reports authorizing complete and accurate inspections have been performed and findings documented.
* Develop shooting techniques as required.
* Calibrate equipment and inspect radiographic equipment.
* Train others as needed.

Primary Purpose:
The Dimensional Inspector dimensionally inspects (measures) castings to meet blueprint specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Measure parts and visually inspects castings for defects and mark in appropriate manner.
* Inspects corrective welds, blends, and alterations to make sure part still meets dimensional requirements.
* Places castings in a fixture to set up for finishing CNC machine.
* Inspects and approves in process visual final dimensional specifications.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
* Prior experience preferred.
* Must be able to read and obtain a basic knowledge and understanding of blueprint specifications with on the job training.
* Must have basic high-school level math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
* Able to use small, fine tools.
* Good attendance record required.
* Requires continuous mental and/or visual attention to detail.
* Able to understand measurements; read and use measurement tools correctly.
* Able to work as a team player and be self-motivated.
* Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
* HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.

JOB SUMMARY
Inspect, assess, accept, or reject, per CPP specifications and PEI specifications procured ceramic cores used in CPP Euclid Operations.
This individual will be responsible for working with all core vendors producing ceramic cores for CPP Euclid through visual and dimensional inspection (on and off site) to the procured core requirements.
Communicate all core related scrap issues and quality issues directly to the core vendor.
The individual will also be responsible for working with the wax supplier to review core preparation compliance to requirements.
Assist CPP Engineers in addressing core break or core related issues and support in prevention or correction.
Position will work directly with engineering and quality departments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Sample and inspect procured ceramic core dimensions with gauging and standard measurement inspection tools; calipers, etc.
* Assess overall quality of cores received to ensure that the products meet CPP standards.
* Verify that all processing paperwork has been completed correctly and tracked per CPP procedures.
* Document and report on non-conforming material or paperwork found during inspections.
* Communicate clearly with customer verbally and in writing all core related issues, weekly.
* Arrange for customer returns with Shipping.
* Perform visual inspection and monitor SPC of cores per PEI as needed.
