Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain professional relationships with referral source contacts including hospitals, physicians, clinic managers, insurance case managers, liaisons, and state and county caseworkers.
* Coordinate the admission of each new resident, ensuring resident's room is ready before they arrive and communicating with all departments to prepare for the new admission.
* Conduct facility tours and ensure the interior of the facility is tour-ready and presents well to visitors at all times.
* Meet with new admissions and complete admission contracts within 24 hours of admission
* Review and explain to each new resident and/or resident's family facility room rates, billing procedures, visitor/guest privileges, restrictions and resident care procedures.
* Complete customer satisfaction surveys with patients through interviews with patients and families
* Assist new admission with getting settled in their room, including assisting with unpacking and completing inventory of belongings
* Assist receptionist with answering phones and greeting visitors.
Qualifications:
* 1 or more years ofexperience in Skilled Nursing preferred.
* Knowledgeable of reimbursement systems such as Medicaid, Medicare and private insurances preferred.
* Knowledgeable of the rules, regulations and guidelines that govern nursing care facilities preferred.

The primary responsibility of a receptionist is to perform support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
The receptionist will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors upon arrival, answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
* Answer telephones, operate facility paging system, and manage resident list and incoming calls to residents.
* Greet visitors, and give directions and information to guests, residents and sales representatives.
* Ensure all visitors abide by existing rules, use ID badges and manage the sign in/out log.
* Assist Administrator and Department Directors in administrative manners.

Education
