Nemours is seeking a Research Technologist to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE.
The Research Technologist will work under supervision of Cell Science Core Manager/Director.
Performs some assignments independently as discussed and approved by Core Manager/Director.
Sets up and performs routine and established lab procedures in support of Core customers' research projects, i.e., cell-based and molecular assays, cell/tissue culture, etc.
Collects, enters, analyzes and summarizes data.
Monitors results, reports unusual outcomes/errors, and suggests modifications.
Assists in the QC and maintenance of Core equipment and monitors supplies.
Assists with organization, maintenance and operations in the core including ordering and receiving laboratory reagents, invoicing and billing customers in iLabs.
Performs basic safety functions in the lab.
Performs basic data analysis; prepares tables/charts/graphs and assists in organizing data.
