The County of Riverside's Office on Aging-Title III division seeks two Temporary Bilingual-Spanish Office on Aging Meal Program Assistants for the Blythe location.
The incumbent will assist with the preparation, delivery and service of the Senior Nutrition Meals.
Program duties include driving the home delivered lunch route; preparing food for service; shopping for supplies, as needed; registering and checking-in seniors, collect program income; distribute and collect senior participant intake forms; interacts with senior and program participants in a positive manner; assist with set up and clean up nutrition and meal programs, Outreach and some clerical duties as assigned.
The individual in this role should have the capacity to drive extended hours and transport meals to various community centers in the Blythe area.
This position will necessitate strong customer service abilities and the capability to carry meal bags.
The individual must be comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, particularly during the hot months in Blythe.
Possibly work some evenings and weekends.
Hours are Monday- Friday 6:00am- 3:30pm
Bilingual-Spanish is required.
Food handlers card will be required and provided.

As a Nutritionist this position will be responsible for participating in long and short range program planning including development of programs and services based on assessments of communities and targeting of older adult populations for their needs and resources, participate in long.
