Maximus is seeking a Manager - Proj/Prog to join our team.
This is a remote position that will support all programs within the Department of Education portfolio (USDS/DMCS/NGBPO).
As a Manager - Proj/Prog, you must be able to act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Identity Access Management (IAM) and access provisioning processes across three Federal contracts and also act as a SME between the client, vendors, stakeholders and senior leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Project Management team in the planning, monitoring and execution of all projects within the portfolio.

Maximus is seeking a Manager - Proj/Prog to join our team.
This is a remote position that will support all programs within the Department of Education portfolio (USDS/DMCS/NGBPO).
As a Manager - Proj/Prog, you must be able to act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Identity Access Management (IAM) and access provisioning processes across three Federal contracts and also act as a SME between the client, vendors, stakeholders and senior leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Project Management team in the planning, monitoring and execution of all projects within the portfolio.
- Build project management expertise within the team and develop best practices.
- Coordinate and evaluate the work of the Project Management team.
- Ensure exposure to risk is minimized on all projects.
- Provide accurate and timely communication to leadership regarding risks, issues and plans to address each.
- Provide recommendations to leadership to improve business and project processes to achieve improved results.
- Monitor performance of subordinates according to established monitoring standards; conduct performance appraisals, make decisions on personnel actions including hiring, firing, and disciplinary action.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop, implement and complete action plans to address any audit findings, perform follow-ups and take appropriate remediation actions
- Ensure IAM governance structures adhere to defined policies and government standards, and that IAM core capabilities, IAM operations, business stakeholder usage, and application integrations follow said governance structures
- Develop processes for the IAM team to follow regarding Privileged and Non-Privileged access for Role-Based Access for application and sever access
- Manage the termination process for the removal of access upon user termination or transfers as appropriate
- Communicate IAM best practices and processes to stakeholders and senior leadership for forward business progression
- Manage access recertification campaigns across multiple programs to ensure appropriate access is given to both privileged users and non-privileged users based on role
