We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the team as a/an Application Design Engineer in our Sydney office.
The Application Design Engineer will be responsible for working with our sales team, customers and consultants to design and price solutions that meet the customers requirements while putting Schneider in a winning position.
Our projects range from small to large technical services packages with high levels of system integration and can be on construction sites or within operating Data Centers.

Responsibilities
* Build sales plan and execute in partnership with sales team.
* Act as the technical interface between sales and sales support, Line of Business and customers in line with the regional business strategy
* Identify opportunities in co-operation with sales team
* Assist sales with a higher level of expertise in front of selected customers
* Work as part of the GCP RAC team, attend team meetings, 1 to 1 sessions with manager and project sales updates
* Deliver project solutions to achieve desired outcomes

Ideal Candidate
* 5 years' experience as an Application Engineer/Solution architect within in Data Center Industry including but not limited to design, calculation and strong technical knowledge of Power Systems Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and Electrical installations.
* Leading initiatives to develop innovative UPS/Batteries solutions, power distribution, monitoring and DCIM to meet evolving client needs.
* Experience in preparing costing, BOM, proposals, ensuring that technical specifications align with client requirements and expectations.

What will you do?
* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Operates and maintains industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant and troubleshoots as necessary to resolve issues.
+ Monitor the performance of all equipment, gauges and charts in the treatment plant.
+ Follows procedures regarding cleaning, equipment use, maintenance, calibration, and safe handling of chemicals.
+ Collects samples and conducts the in-plant tests necessary to control and monitor treatment facility processes and operation.

This position is responsible for power systems solution support with an emphasis in digital connected applications.

* Support Bid Invest decisions by preparing proposals and conducting commercial and technical impact evaluations during the bid process.
* Evaluate incoming proposals and provide technical assessments to aid decision-making.
* Facilitate the proposal through the negotiation process to ensure successful closure.
* Maintain strong relationships with strategic internal and external customers to understand their needs and expectations.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to inform tender strategies and provide application support for Global Line of Business.

What will you do?
Manufacturing Engineer - Fabrication is responsible for leading and implementing product performance, cost, and quality improvements to Transfer Switches and Power Control Systems in accordance with ASCO Procedures and standard industry practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Act as liaison between Design Engineering and Manufacturing to insure product quality and integrity meet ASCO performance requirements.
