Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and motivated HSE Supervisor to support one of our key clients on a major infrastructure project located in the Capital Region of Finland.
We are hiring on a permanent basis, and the position is set to start as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing team on a technically demanding project for a reputable international client.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Ensure site operations comply with local and international HSE regulations and company safety standards
* Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
* Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site personnel
* Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures
* Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols
* Work closely with project management to integrate HSE procedures into daily operations
* Liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and emergency response teams as necessary
* Maintain accurate records of safety documentation, training logs, and incident reports
* Ensure environmental compliance, including waste management and pollution control
* Following up local HS legislation and requirements
* Foster a proactive safety culture and promote continuous improvement in workplace safety
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors: data centres, nuclear facilities, or substations, large scale construction projects
* Minimum of 5 years experience in HSE supervision on installation or construction sites
* Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment methods, and safety procedures
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in high-risk environments and make quick decisions under pressure
* English language skills
