The multi-craft maintenance lead is responsible for maintaining the plant in a safe and reliable condition.
This is a union role.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day work activity such as changeovers, PM schedule and repairs.
* Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
* Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance as needed.
* Work with Scheduling and crew Supervisors for prioritization of projects.
* Provide training and guidance to staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Identify training needs and organize relevant training programs.
* Responsible for implementing and maintaining plant effectiveness, emphasizing on machine maintenance and performance upkeep in an assigned Value Stream.
* Responsible for responding to all unplanned downtime or breakdowns on machines.
* Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting problems with drive systems and PLCs.
* Plan and execute maintenance activities for non-routine problems or issues.
* Troubleshoot equipment and system problems for manufacturing and facility equipment both routine and complex using a method of troubleshooting to get to a root cause.
