[ Position Summary ]
Labor Relations Manager will design/propose/implement the new HR program to meet business & diverse employees' needs based on the J&J culture.
Contribute to create a Well-Being work environment for employees.
Point of contact for Innovative medicine Labor Union negotiation.
Ability to properly execute ER cases while managing labor risks.
The work is performed under guidance from ERLR Lead.
[ Major Duties & Responsibilities ]
l HR Policy design and implementation (30%)
• Design, propose and implement "best in class" HR policies which are complied with local labor laws and aligned with J&J culture.
Prepare proposal materials for the Japan President Council and obtain its approval.
• Conduct policy integration and transition by business acquisitions and divestitures.
• Identifies Japanese Labor & Employment Law changes and market trends, provide appropriate action plans for changes and implement in a timely manner.

• Respond appropriately to points raised by the Labor Standards Inspection Office and relevant ministries.

• Take ownership on preparation for labor union negotiation by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attending Labor Union negotiation and lead the discussion.
l Employee Relations (40%)
• Manage Employee Relations cases appropriately based on professional labor knowledge and create necessary findings.
Conduct investigations of harassment cases based on professional labor knowledge.
