The candidate is responsible for designing medium voltage switchgear, implementing designs, and supporting product production at our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
* Creation of custom medium voltage switchgear; unique customization of "base" designs for specific customers and/or applications while maintaining compliance with all performance, design, and Standards criteria
* Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings
* Create 3D models and 2D drawings for development of custom switchgear inclusive of busbar, barriers, and sheet metal parts
* Demonstrate capability of 2D and/or 3D modifications of high complexity parts and assemblies for adaptation into assigned order
* Develop and maintain bills of materials to meet custom applications
* Ability to design sheet metal, bus, and related mechanical parts and assemblies for the product line assigned.
