This role is based in Tulsa, OK.
The CFD team is part of the Engineering & Design Group with responsibility for technology development, product development, and process engineering for our engineered combustion and emissions solutions businesses.
This role is pivotal in driving technology and product development as well as in supporting our various technology sectors including Flares, Burners, Thermal Oxidizers, and Vapor Control.
What You Will Do
• You will lead and execute CFD projects from the proposal stage through analysis, reporting, and presentation.
• Foster long-term business growth by contributing to technology, product development, and customer relationships with the ultimate goal of creating mutual cycles of benefit
• Utilize CFD simulation capabilities to enhance product design, grow understanding of our technologies, mitigate process/warranty risks, and support business development by showcasing technical leadership and crafting innovative solutions for clients.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements (Basic Qualifications):
• Experience with ANSYS FLUENT, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM or other commercial CFD software
• Knowledge and understanding of fluid mechanics principles
What Will Put You Ahead
• Master's degree or Doctorate in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Experience with combustion equipment
• Experience working in the oil & gas industry
