This role is part of the engineering department at the Toledo mill and would be the primary onsite subject matter expert on electrical, instrumentation, and controls design.
Georgia Pacific Toledo is a producer of brown paper used to make cardboard and is a leader in recycling in the Northwest.
The Toledo Mill is located within a 10-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean.

What You Will Do
* Provide electrical engineering subject matter expertise to project managers, process controls engineers, maintenance, and reliability teams
* Produce electrical and instrumentation design packages for small mill engineering projects
* Coordinate additional outside electrical engineering as needed to support larger projects
* Support mill's electrical power distribution engineer with troubleshooting and maintenance of power systems
* Project manage small electrical-based engineering projects with scope development, budgeting, and scheduling, and electrical construction management
* Provide leadership to drive continuous improvement with electrical and instrumentation reliability

* Own seeking out risk proactively and prevent/mitigate the risk
* Support the RFI and NCR processes
* Partner with electrical asset management in early project phases to ensure alignment of their long-term plans with the current project objectives.
* Manage the SKM model including the production, review and updating of load flows, fault current, relay coordination and arc flash studies
* Review/Approve HAC analysis for each project, complete assessment per API RP500 and FHR standards, and complete final documentation
* Help design equipment solutions to scope projects to meet objectives.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Minimum of five (5) years of electrical work experience, may be project or industrial support
* Experience in evaluating new technology for application in an industrial facility
* Experience with engineering contractors and review/approval of designs and specifications documents

Role Overview
The Principal Technical Consultant will lead the implementation and optimization of environmental management systems (EMS) across diverse enterprise applications.
