* Operate production machinery as needed to prepare product samples
* Sample and test mixtures for compliance with contract specifications and quality control tolerance
* Maintain safety records and prepare safety reports as directed
* Prepare and assist in the preparation and submittal of permit applications to the proper regulatory agencies
* Provide support to site construction management in developing and implementing new programs, new permits, and new equipment
* Enter and maintain safety related data into Oldcastle's software
* Inspect work environment, machinery, and equipment in establishments and other work sites conformance with standards
* Observe employees and determine compliance with safety precautions and safety equipment used
* Halt any unsafe action or work
* Ensure all inspections and meetings are completed each month
* Maintain air, water, hazardous waste, and any other permit compliance

Job Summary
Perform a wide range of duties to safely and efficiently produce precast concrete products of the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
* Accurately read and interpret drawings and blueprints
* Cut, bend, place, and tie steel rebar
* Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete
* Place concrete in molds from pour bucket
* Finish fresh concrete with trowel after placing in molds
* Disassemble steel molds and remove hardened product following day
* Mold/form building
* Facility maintenance and housekeeping
* Product yarding and truck loading
* Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirements
* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
* Related industry experience preferred
* Some construction experience preferred
* Knowledge and skills to use basic tools
* Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure
* Understand and can apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
* Frequent climbing of ladders
