About the Position:
NC Power Systems is seeking Data Center Technician’s in our, Wenatchee / Quincy WA area.
This is a key role in our company in which our technicians are responsible for diagnosing and maintaining all Data Center generators as well as installations in EPG and Industrial engines in the field.
The role is 100% in the field
Essential Duties:
* Patience and safety is a priority
* Diagnose, Repair and Install Industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG)
* Maintaining engines and generators at Data Centers
* Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs
* Order parts by using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS)
* Communicate with Engineering, customers and other team members
* Meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork and inspections (including service reports, jobsite specific paperwork, and quality service notes)
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience Needed:
* Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred
* 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine
* Must possess your own tools
* Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
* Lifting requirements of 30+ pounds
* Above average communication skills, written & verbal

Key Activities
* Installation and maintenance of a structured LAN environment utilizing CAT6a cabling.
* Responsible for the design and layout of communication and data cabling.
This includes termination and final acceptance testing of the cable to meet TIA/IEE standards.
* Perform moderately complex repairs and maintenance to various systems with limited supervision including but not limited to CCTV, Physical Access Control systems, Fire detection, Intercom, and data cabling systems
* Provides training and guidance to other technical staff on areas of expertise.
* Interprets design drawings, plans and specifications to test, program and troubleshoot Building systems.
* Coordinates work with outside contractors and vendors as required
