Summary of position:
Provides strategic leadership for Continuous Improvement (CI) and capabilities processes and teams at the manufacturing site. This position is responsible to provide leadership to embed a CI and change management mindset. They will also develop capability and a learning culture through Training 4 Excellence (T4E) standards and processes and drive cost savings and process improvements using various tools and techniques such as Operational Excellence (OPEX) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Fuel to Grow (F2G), while fostering a strong, people first culture for the site. This position plays a critical role in developing and cascading Regional Improvement strategy, defining metrics, and leveraging influential skills to sponsor cost savings initiatives and efficiencies.
Leadership responsibilities include: Change management, Digital Transformation, Cost savings, and Training teams.
Scope:
Incumbent reports to the site mill manager. He/She has broad CI and capability development responsibilities for technically complex processes, plant equipment, facilities and personnel. Along with providing strategic leadership to the team members that report to them, he/she coaches/uses problem solving methods and tools to identify gaps in processes, capability, and culture, identifying opportunities for CI and seeks innovative ways to close those gaps.

Goodwill's Material Handlers are an integral part of our production team!! Material Handlers keep our production moving by using electric forklifts and/or pallet jacks to stage portions of our production flow (i.e., gaylords, pallets, tubs, etc.) matching them with the members of the production team to maximize efficiency.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Material Handler, Retail will primarily work in a production environment moving, storing, and retrieving donated products following Goodwill’s warehousing and material handling procedures and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This position supports two programs with mission applications focused on software modernization, containerization, hardening, and deployment to security compliant cloud infrastructure.

Responsible for managing assigned construction activities of telecommunication sites and overseeing all aspects of tower erection.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
* Ensure quality construction is being performed within established budget and schedule while retaining customer standards of performance.
* Develop and Build Subcontractor Base.
* Coordinate/Attend site/bid walks and review blueprint to gather information pertaining to actual site conditions, subcontractor costs, etc.
for use in preparing accurate estimate of job cost.
* Read and understand site status reports, site plans, tower drawings, and grounding plans.
Interface with customers and subcontractors.
* Report on and update job progress on weekly database trackers and provide daily reporting as required.
* In conjunction with Territory Management, plan, schedule, prioritize and organize material deliveries, equipment, manpower and subcontractors in a manner ensuring that projects progress in an efficient and productive manner.
Consider company priorities and customer expectations in all decisions.
* Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on customer specifications and train employees to produce quality sites, which meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Maintain and enforce all SBA and OSHA safety practices and perform daily job site safety inspections.
Immediately stop work on any site where unsafe work practices or conditions exist, regardless of who is performing the work.
