General Purpose

Position Summary
The Dietary Aide supports daily kitchen and dining operations by assisting with meal service, food preparation, sanitation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
This position works closely with the Cook and Dietary Supervisor to ensure excellent dining service and food safety standards.
What You'll Do
* Assist with meal preparation, tray setup, and meal service
* Serve residents in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner
* Clear and sanitize dishes, trays, and kitchen equipment
* Operate commercial dishwasher and monitor sanitation standards
* Check and document dishwasher temperatures and sanitizer levels
* Prepare snacks and nourishments for residents
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage areas, and dining spaces
* Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors and work surfaces
* Store groceries safely and maintain organized food storage areas
* Remove trash and recycling as needed
* Support cooks and team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Participate in training and ongoing education
* Collaborate positively with all departments within the community
