Visalia Post Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our dietary team.
This role is essential in supporting meal service operations and ensuring our residents receive nutritious meals in a clean and safe environment.
General Purpose
Dietary Aide assignments are determined based on the needs of the shift.
This position reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor and supports daily kitchen operations, meal service, and sanitation.
Essential Duties
Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position; however, this does not imply that these are the only duties you will be required to perform.
* Learn and follow food service routines within a short period of time.
* Set up meal trays according to dietary guidelines.
* Break down returned trays and assist with dishwashing.
* Assist with serving meals to residents.

* Monitor dishwasher temperatures during wash cycles.
* Operate dishwashing equipment safely and effectively.
* Prepare nourishments and snacks as assigned.
* Sweep and mop kitchen and dietary areas.
* Dispose of trash and garbage properly.
* Store groceries and supplies in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
* Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment.
